What is Coastal Factors?

Waves, winds and currents are the principal driving forces for coastal processes. The coast is the land that borders an ocean or sea.

Tsunamis are exmaples of a Coastal Factor. They are giant waves caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions under the sea. As the waves travel inland, they build up to higher heights.
